Mercury Arts
Art isn’t always creative, but creativity is an art.
Finding our Play Spaces
Creativity and art can be an activity which makes us feel ‘less than’. We see so many perfected and polished crafts and art online that we can be put off trying before we pick up a pencil!
In order to be creative, we first need to learn to let go of our attempts to control it and acknowledge that we are often working with something else, whether we call it inspiration, flow, imagination…the name doesn’t matter.
A play space is a dedicated time where we aren’t trying to achieve a goal, or an end result, and we aren’t self aware because we are so engrossed in what we are doing right now in this moment. Think of a playground at infant school or shell hunting on the beach…

Creativity is about discovery, straying out of what we know.
It becomes a powerful tool for wellbeing, inner discovery and growth
I offer classes and workshops which encourage and enable creativity.
